Love your info re the Dordogne and all creatures. Am renting a little gite for the winter and trying to learn much much more about all things ‘nature’ and found the hummingbird hawk moth I saw yesterday nectaring on some violas on my doorstep at St. Capraise d’Eymet. Really warm here too as you probably know though I did see hundreds of cranes on Friday evening in the distance all in a line and before that a flock of 8 cranes passed just by my gite. Wonderful sight though a friend said it was quite early for this. Today it’s still warm, at a balmy thought foggy this morning, 21 degrees. The chiff-chaffs are still ‘chiff-chaff-ing’ away which seems strange as in England one tends to think of chiff-chaffs welcoming Springtime!
Anyway, am enjoying all you have to offer on your website, keep it up!
With best wishes,
Denise
Lovely to hear from you. The lines of cranes are a wonderful sight. Here, many wild and garden flowers are out, as if it was springtime.
All the best, Ian
